Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026 · Marvelous Mike Press, Nigeria
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Marvelous Mike Press collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and printing services.
1Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, payment references, business/corporate details, and artwork or design files you upload for printing. We also automatically collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited, via cookies and similar technologies.
2How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process, produce, and deliver your print orders
- Create and manage your account
- Send order confirmations, delivery updates, and receipts
- Respond to enquiries and provide customer support
- Improve our website, products, and services
- Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorised transactions
- Comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
3Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the basis of: performance of a contract (fulfilling your order), your consent (e.g. newsletter sign-up), our legitimate business interests (fraud prevention, service improvement), and compliance with legal obligations, consistent with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023.
4Payment Security
Payments are processed securely through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor, and via direct bank transfer. Marvelous Mike Press does not collect or store your full card or bank account details on our servers — these are handled entirely by our payment processor. We retain transaction references, amounts, and status for receipts, accounting, and order tracking.
5Artwork & File Storage
Print files and artwork you upload are stored securely and used solely to produce your order. We do not use your uploaded artwork for any purpose other than fulfilling your order, unless you separately grant permission (for example, to feature your project as a sample of our work). You may request deletion of your artwork after order completion by contacting us.
6Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, and secure your session. We may also use analytics cookies to understand how customers use our shop and to improve the experience. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not work correctly if you do.
7Sharing Your Information
We share personal data only with trusted third parties who help us operate our business, including payment processors (Paystack), delivery/logistics couriers, cloud hosting and database providers, and analytics providers. These parties are only given the information necessary to perform their services and are required to protect it. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
8International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (such as cloud hosting and infrastructure providers) may process or store data on servers located outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data continues to receive an appropriate level of protection, consistent with NDPA 2023 requirements for cross-border transfers.
9Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure hosting — to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Data Retention
We retain order, payment, and transaction records for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy and to comply with accounting, tax, and other legal obligations (typically up to 6 years after the transaction). Account data is retained while your account remains active, and may be deleted upon request subject to our legal retention obligations.
11Your Rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to request data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
12Children's Privacy
Our website and services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
13Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of our website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
